Nearly one year ago, on March 11th, 2011, the great earthquake and tsunami struck Japan. The 9.0 magnitude quake devastated northeastern Japan and the tsunami which followed brought unimaginable havoc in its wake. As the Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster continues to unfold, it is impossible to measure how many people are still suffering. Over the past 12 months, so many people from around the world have supported Japan in so many ways. On the eve of the anniversary of March 11th, we will gather again to send our prayers to those who lost their families, friends, and hometowns. Our message is, “We haven’t forgotten you.
